I was flying AKL to NAN recently and waiting in the comfort of the Koru lounge. The call came to board now so away we went only to be greeted with a full lounge and nothing doing in respect of boarding. So we stood and waited and waited and waited. I love the way the staff studiously avoid eye contact in situations like this.

Why on earth do they convey the all clear signal to the Koru Lounge so prematurely? Surely they could wait until they were open and ready to board?
