Just noticed this morning that AirNZ have launched a new "Future Taking Flight" mini site on the AirNZ website on their new 787-9 Dreamliner that's coming into service next year (mid-2014).
Looks like they're trying to get more awareness into the market of the new aircraft and the new innovations/changes that will be coming with them when these new aircraft take to the skies in the not-so distant future..
The site covers general information on the new aircraft, as well as each of the cabins and a better idea of what each will look like / the 'experience' of each one. It's interesting to see the differences between the AirNZ's site and
Jetstar's one.
The mini site is accessible
here.
Also noticed an article on
Stuff this morning on the Dreamliner and comparisons drawn between it and Jetstar's new 787-8 that arrived last month into Melbourne.
The first route for AirNZ's 787-9 is AKL-PER.
