Recent several night stay at the Manila Marriott... what an excellently managed property! I am a platinum, and we were greeted outside the hotel on arrival (pre-arranged Marriott transportation), taken to our room for check-in. The Exexcutive Lounge was excellent, long 4 hour Happy Hour, well staffed with competent people who would get my requests done pronto or get my answers quickly.

Bell staff excellent... we had much luggage stored in their closet as we did not need it during our stay.

Besides full lounge privileges, we could get breakfast at either the lounge of the full buffet at the Market Cafe, quite an elaborate spread.

The hotel has a full service restaurant CRU which is of execllent quality both in terms of food and service.

The hotel is franchised, and the developers have an ownership stake (I believe) in the commercial complex located adjacent with another hotel, casino, cinemas and high end mall.
