These are a 2+3 layout as others have stated and middle is not blocked. If someone is in the middle seat it has no resemblance to business class - more similar to a MD-88/90 coach flight.

I had a bulkhead window on the DEF side once - the middle seat doesnt even have a tray table! The cabin crew need to bring one from the galley and install it so the poor guy in the middle could eat.

Needless to say, try to get the AC side of the aisle if possible.
