When this was reported in todays Star Tribune, the twin cities paper, the comment section was full of people very angry about the idea that Delta would get corporate welfare from MN to build this. I share this frustration....Delta is in great shape right now, why in the world do they need to take money from tax payers to build a new building? How about be a great corporate citizen and spend their own money and donate what amount would have been the forgivable loan to local schools or something.
1) If MN didn't offer subsidies, some other state would.
2) If taxpayers don't like economic development grants, then they should take that up with their public officials.
3) To which state should DL be a "great corporate citizen"?
