What value do you assign to points? I consider a point to be worth about 2.5 cents, so that would be $50. Is a better room and the food worth $50 to you?

You'd have to ask the property if the upgrade is length of stay only. I'd suspect it is, no one wants the hassle of changing a guest's room in the middle of the stay, but that's just a guess.
