I encountered retaliation for a mistake recently. I didn't wait for previous person to fully clear metal detector. While I didn't get a secondary, I was certainly punished.

"You need to take off your shoes now" and they went through the xray.
I go through the metal detector wearing clothes similar to what I usually wear ...
"Beep". (of course).
"oh we need to feel you up now" (paraphrased).
aah the joy of flying.
