I wondered the same thing. Must have been trumped by FCM. Obviously Delta has become wise and realized that Upgrade Class is not as profitable as re-purposing the real estate with seats that will sell.

I'm OK with this. In return though I expect an industry leading first class product. However, what has been presented by Delta thus far, barely seems competitive.

- industry lagging pitch of 37"
- well publicized second rate meals and meal times
- personal AVOD technology that can't be used effectively
- use of dirty, floppy curtains as cabin dividers
