Is it me or do they periodically tinker with the meal timings on these flights? I could have sworn I've gotten both mid-flight and pre-landing second meals both ex-HKG and ex-ORD the times I've taken the flights since the route started. On the ex-HKG, a meal mid-flight isn't so bad since it feels like a late supper in the Hong Kong time zone you've just left. But coming back, a mid-flight meal would come during what feels like the dead of Chicago night when you're not at all hungry.
