Through March 2014, Hilton Hotels throughout Japan are celebrating 50 years of Hilton in Japan by offering a "50% off suites" rate (PR50A1)

However, for the Odawara Hilton, they are offering this rate for ALL rooms, not just suites.

Though most of the cheapest rates are gone for the remainder of this year, there are still plenty of days in January through March where you can use this rate to get a room for about $120/night plus tax, putting this Category 10 hotel within the reach of "mattress stay" status (or, conversely, making it one of the worst deals for points redemptions on the planet...)
