I will be heading to Paris over Thanksgiving and was told that I had to eat at this restaurant. I went online to make reservations, and the site says that they are open from 6:30 until MN for dinner, yet they only allow you to make dinner reservations at 6:30 online. I sent them an email with my reservation asking for a later time, but just got a generic confirmation email with the 6:30 time.

Is there a way to request a later time? I don't see how they can be open for 6 hours for dinner and not have a later seating.

Also, I want to sit at the "bar" area, and would like to try different plates. Is there a way to request the "bar" area, or do I have to sit where they put me (BTW, there are 2 of us)?

Finally, any recommendations on plates that we "must" try?
