One more clarifying question. I see a phrase in the T&Cs that there is a $200 per person charge for changing awards. Well at least for those of us with that aren't 1K or GS.
If I have a PNR with 4 people and want to remove one can I assume they would be fair and only charge me $200 for the one person I want to remove. Or would they say something odd like it would be $800 ( 4* $200) because there are 4 people on the PNR I'm looking to change.
Call me paraniod but the surcharges seem to get more odd over time with airlines trying to get me to part with every penny I have so I could see them doing something like this.

You can book a saver in one direction and a standard in the other. Those of us that are exempt from award change fees would book this as two separate one-ways for everyone but that gets expense if subject to change fees.
BTW some award rates are changing as of Feb 1 -- see
