Our recent stay was very good. The last time we were here was during their renovation, so it was good to see all the changes, mostly for the better.
Using one of our suite upgrades, we were in a very spacious Executive Suite on the 24th floor. No view from our room, but depending on what floor you're on and which way you're facing, I imagine some views must be really nice.
The suite could be a good option for families because it has 2 full baths, and a door dividing the bedroom from the living area. The couch in the living area is not also a fold-out bed, however. Hardwood floors add a nice touch.
The lounge is still in the same place on the 32nd floor with the great views. David is the same as I remember- very friendly. Breakfast options are fairly good for a lounge- smoked salmon, warm dishes like scrambled eggs, plenty of pastries, and fresh fruit. We were gone the other times of the day, so we didn't get a chance to check out their snack and evening offerings.
The only downside to the lounge is the same as other large Hyatt club/lounges like the GHNY- when the hotel is busy, the lounge will get overrun in the mornings. People are kind of hovering, waiting for you to finish so they can grab your table.
