On the second night of my first stay here at the Westin Beijing Financial Street, and was pleasantly surprised by the upgrade to a Renewal Suite even when using an SET.

Didn't have the chance to use the gym and pool but they look good, esp the pool.

Food however is quite average taste wise, from having ordered from room service and having a la carte lunch at Senses (breakfast restaurant).

Wifi internet was quite slow in the room and ok in common areas.

The executive lounge was spacious, although it lacks a nice view of outside, like the one at the LRM Shanghai.

Location-wise, it's definitely further from the airport than the Westin Beijing Chaoyang, and Changan Ave, which you have to pass to get to/from the airport is no fun to be stuck in in a jam. But other than that it depends on where you want to go while in the city.

The FS does come across as smaller and less grand than the Chaoyang though, esp in terms of the lobby ceiling height. It's also weird that guests see the Heavenly Bed the first thing they enter the main door.
