Sorry for all the newbie questions, but:

How many miles do I need for 3 tickets in Business Elite? I found the Awards chart at Delta here: http://www.delta.com/content/www/en_...-s-canada.html

For Asia it says BE costs 70k miles on a "Saver" date.. is that each way, or for a round trip ticket? For 3 tickets to Tokyo, would I need 210k miles, or 420k? I understand that finding THREE awards fares on ONE trans-Pacific flight might be "impossible", but maybe it could happen!!? Delta's site leads me to believe that it's "easy".

Regarding the Platinum card -- would the "companion" ticket be at the same fare class? Could I get one BE ticket with miles, and the 2nd companion ticket would be in BE too?

Right now I am learning towards just sticking with using Economy Comfort... I have flown to Asia several times (including in First Class), and in comparison Economy Comfort wasn't so bad.... I'm thinking it might not be worth the extra hassle to try to use SkyMiles for overseas travel.... just save my SkyMiles for domestic flights.

Thanks again, you guys have been great!

according to the Delta web site... on a "Saver" day, a BE ticket from US to Asia is 70k miles? Is that one-way or round-trip? for 3 tickets, would I need 210k miles or 420k?
