To those who say that the plane or the crew is needed elsewhere, while that's possible in general, I'd say it's highly unlikely in this case.
All the LGA-ORD shuttle flights are operated by Shuttle America. There is a grand total of one other flight to ORD this Sunday (as an indicative schedule) operated by Shuttle America (DL 6001/6011 to/from DTW). So essentially all the shuttle flights are turning around in ORD, since Shuttle America planes and crews can't be used for any other flights. So pretty safe to assume that it's the loads of the return flight that are relevant, if you think that DL/Shuttle America will cancel the flight due to low loads (which is unlikely anyway).
However, as noted, this being a shuttle route, I wouldn't think the loads two weeks out have much of anything to do with the loads when the flight flies.
