Of all the stupid security measures this agency invented, the printing of a special security status on your boarding pass, then allowing you to prepare for security on your own (perhaps transferring that 110 mL bottle of scary liquid to your friends luggage) before going through this more thorough (and more ridiculous) screening is probably the stupidest of all.
My favorite part about this is that the department of homeland security has just permitted me to enter the US using an automated kiosk without talking to anyone before being searched like a suspected terrorist at security.
