Okay, questions for anyone that might have some insight.

A). Can I drop the last segment from a one-way award ticket without loosing the first leg? Example: I have an itinerary of USM-BKK, BKK-FRA, then FRA-SFO. Can I call and have them delete the FRA-SFO without screwing up the first part of the ticket? I don't want to loose the A380 first seats on Thai from BKK-FRA.

B). An alternative to A, can I book a totally different award from FRA-SFO on the same day (or possibly different) and have both itineraries under the same name without causing problems? Have them check the bags through to only FRA, not SFO on the original flight scheduled, then use a different itinerary booked?
