Right after 9-11, they tried to have the "TSA Police" but figured out it was going to cost way to much money.

The idea was to hire, train, and deploy Armed TSA Police Officers to all the checkpoints around the US.

They would be sent to the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center in GA....same place US Capitol, Pentagon, GSA, GPO, USSS-Uniformed, US Mint, some DOD, etc.... go to train.

As stated, the costs were going to be out the wazoo. The 25 that actually did get hired ended up becoming FAMS.

If they do something like this, still trying to figure out who is going to foot the bill......
