I take it you're referring to Delta Platinum vs Delta Reserve?
I think there's no comparison here. However, for $450, you can get a real, true American Express Platinum card (non-Delta), and you will get more benefits, including lounge access to US, AA, DL, Centurion, and Priority Pass for international use. Also comes with SPG Gold status for immediate Crossover rewards earning.
It's rumored / confirmed that you get better upgrade chances with a Delta card, but I would say use the real Platinum card and get the cheap Delta one to cover this if you're worried about your upgrades.
The only benefit to spending $450 on a Delta credit card is the MQMs - the rest can be had at a better bang for your buck elsewhere.
