My colleagues is currently in Bangkok and he said his handset (Nexus 4) registered with DTAC and oddly he was getting 128kbps DOWN, but almost 2.3Mbps UP.

Not sure why he was seeing such high upload speeds, maybe something was screwey with DTAC or T-Mobile did something wrong.
