Nope, as SkyTeam ElitePlus (DL GM, PM, or DM), you can use any SkyTeam lounge when flying same day on any SkyTeam "international" (check DL definition of international for this purpose) lounge, regardless of whether your ticket is in coach or business. This includes the domestic DL SCs, the DL SCs at NRT, AF and KLM operated lounges, etc. but does not include nonSkyTeam partners (like Virgin) or contract lounges.

IMO, if you don't use the SC (access, not membership), the only advantage of Reserve over DL Plat is the additional MQM boost. For example, spend $30K qualifying spend on Plat, get 10K MQM's. The same $30K on Reserve will get you 15K MQM's. If the extra 5K is worth $300 or so/yr is what each individual has to decide.
Personally believe the thing about the Reserve tiebreaker for UG is highly overrated.

Also, if you have already spent $25k on the Plat Card, and then switch the Reserve Card mid-year, you're spending resets. For example, you would have to spend $30k on the Reserve Card to get the 15k MQM's.
I was planning on making the upgrade in January when my spending resets anyway.
