Many western travel search site has problem handling the size and location of SG. Many times one would look for hotels/accommodations in SG with search results returning Malaysian JB hotels as well as Indonesian Island "resorts".

With the price difference unless you are knowledgeable with SG and name of local places one would have to read all the text and the location not being in SG does not sink in. Others think it is like a EU border crossing without realizing the long lineup at JB and the Island ferries.
