We currently pay $10/mo for Vonage at home, but strictly for emergency backup in the event a mobile phone is lost (or service outage). Considering the switch to Magicjack Plus or Ooma but the upfront fee on the latter is a bit steep, particularly as telecom services are constantly evolving.
