Have you ever had a SO criticize you for collecting miles/points?

Long story short, I just had a two hour argument with my partner about my "obsession" with the miles and points game. To her, things like mileage runs, credit card sign-ups, manufactured spend, following travel blogs, and knowing the ins and outs of a multitude of FF programs was less akin to an innocent hobby, and more reminiscent of borderline behavior that might be warning signs for future problems. I honestly just see this as something I enjoy doing which doesn't interrupt with my daily routine, but my partner sees it far differently.

We joke in this forum about our SO teasing us or not understanding why we do what we do, but has anyone ever had a problem where their SO has literally told them that what they're doing is fundamentally wrong and considered it a "red flag" on you? What sort of things have you said to assuage them of that, or on the other hand, has their concern resulted at all in you toning down your own activities? I don't know if I'm in the wrong for trying to defend this so passionately with someone I care about.
