Is this airport as bad as skytraxx reviews claim?
Thanks
In my opinion, Pearson airport is not that bad as many people make it out to be. Indeed, I have read many negative reviews on Pearson on the Skytrax website. However, honestly, I consider those reviews more as entertainment than factual reviews. I laugh quite a bit, really, when I read what kind of complaints passengers have posting their YYZ reviews on that site. Although the airport is not perfect (there are actually many European airports that are superior, I would say), I must add that in a lot of situations, passengers complaining about signs (or lack thereof) at both terminals at YYZ should simply stop, take a few breaths, look around them, and they'll quickly find their way. It actually is not that confusing as some are needlessly making it out to be!
(Oh, and by the way, the new transfer system of connecting transborder flights at T1 - the step 1,2,3 - it's a marvellous system I think; very convenient to not have to transfer the bulky baggage yourself!)
