Another question then is if your upgrade gets "accepted" by QR. I've only been in luck once so far when applying online (with miles); but it seems people have more success when calling their local booking office directly.

I tried online with my booking reference number for my flight yesterday. 25 QCredits one way from DOH to LHR from Business to First. Put in the request on-line 10 days before travel. No response ever. Flight left with plenty empty seats in F. I sat in Business. Not bad - yet very aggravating and worrisome that Privilege Club does not respond!.
