Still have 6 more months before anything changes. If you were like me when I made the move, and are ready to dump your overpriced carrier (like I was with AT&T), it still makes sense to switch. And who knows what will happen in the meantime, as there may be a way to dial out through GV with 3rd-party devices after May.

That's another 6 months that I won't have to pay for US long distance calling, even though I'm using my ObiHai in London. All things considered, this been an awesome experience. One-time porting fee to Google, one-time hardware purchase, and free service for the last 2+ years.
