I do know what will still work is: incoming calls with caller name will still ring the home phones because the call centric number is just another forwarding phone to GV. E911 well still go out correctly. So the only missing piece is outgoing dialing through the GV number via the home phones, the no cost outgoing calls. I can maybe live with that.
Of all the possibilities one can port a former home landline now on GV to, magic jack is at the bottom of my list. Porting to the main VoIP providers is a much better option, IMO. Reasons, you already have the ata hardware, the costs are way less, and the VoIP are continuously rolling out new features.
