How do national rental car companies deal w/annual registration of out-of-state cars?
Just curious, if anyone knows...

My last couple of car rentals were cars that were registered/plated in states 2000 miles from where I was renting.

How do rental car companies deal with re-registration? If a car that is in Seattle, e.g., and is registered in Florida is due for re-registration this month, does Hertz or whoever re-register in Washington state, send the car back to Florida, or ??
