Hi,

Recently I asked to an agent to book one ticket for me and got a decent price. After few days I asked to book one more and the price they said was around 150$ more then the first one and I said OK. The price I looked on different sites on internet was much higher. The agent said 2nd ticket is on waiting list and will come back to me once it is confirmed.

Now when the 2nd ticket got confirmed then I paid the tickets. When I look at different details for both tickets, it seems Booking Class and Code Fare Basis and each and everything else is same for both tickets, so I asked agent why there is such difference when everything is same on both tickets. Agent said it is due to how Airlines markets different fares for same class of service etc.

But according to my knowledge if flights,dates,class and Fare Code Basis are same, then fare should also be same. So want to know is it possible that fare may be different in above situation?
