OK, so a poster come lately but wanted to add my .02 re: HI Madrid. Spent 4 nights there this past summer - 2 rooms, both booked on points - and must say it was quite pleasant. Not a posh establishment but more than adequate - clean, well provisioned and well located. Staff was excellent, and free WiFi was nice. Breakfast was fine, and as I recall reasonably priced. Very easy stroll to two metro stations. Will most assuredly consider for next visit to Madrid.
