I have only taken one round trip long-haul flight with LAN from MIA-SCL on a 763 and it was also very uncomfortably hot ( I was sitting in coach). I asked the flight attendants for ice cubes to put down my shirt on a couple of occasions because I was so hot. thought it was just me.
