Quite. The only sweeping generalisation made here has been made by you, HIDDY! To clarify: the hard product in AA J on the 77W ONLY wipes the floor with CW.

It just makes it even more galling that BA chose to not revamp CW for the introduction of the 787 and 380. CW was streets ahead as a TATL J product a couple of years ago, but no more - it could be argued that BA are resting on their laurels and are in danger of being left behind.
