How about a red tartan then for the seat upholstery, should hide most stains nicely, and all the Scottish grannies will love it. Bagpipes, however, must not be allowed. ps a bit more seriously, AA's blankets are red, cheers the cabin up (and now cheers my office up for when the AC is too low...half inched by a previous occupant of my office, honest). On their new 737s with 'mood' lighting or whatever, i thought to myself - if this lighting goes red for take off, im going to laugh. Yes, i had to laugh, cabin roof lights went red for take off. I actually thought it was rather neat, but did make me think - DANGER!!
