Saying that those who frequently fly in premium cabins should be rewarded in a different manner and saying those who fly Economy should not be allowed to qualify for Diamond are two different things- the latter is what you've stated several times, once in this thread already, and is what I'm taking issue with.
The problem is the two groups r mixed and share the same benefits at the moment. I am fine for the Y class DM to continue enjoying the benefits if they reward the J and F DMs better. Yes there is DM+ but there should be an in between grade.
You see we now have issues regarding lounge overcrowding, people complaining quality of food, manners etc... This wasn't an issue before but we can see if they don't differentiate the group sooner, then what is the point of becoming DM when the benefits are becoming more diluted.
I am not meaning to offend anyone, but a PPS type of arrangement might not be a bad idea and then there can still be DM+ and create a group for EconDM with less benefits then the new type.
