Let me put it this way- do you think Diamonds who qualified by solely flying Y are as entitled to the benefits, e.g. First check-in, First lounge, extra baggage allowance, etc., as you are?
Saying that those who frequently fly in premium cabins should be rewarded in a different manner and saying those who fly Economy should not be allowed to qualify for Diamond are two different things- the latter is what you've stated several times, once in this thread already, and is what I'm taking issue with.
