Right quick update so I have been on to the BAEC Gold Line and they confirm that on a mixed booking (BA and AA flights) I CAN upgrade the BA flights using a GUF2.\

On that basis I will stick with my booking and when I earn my GUF2 and Joker I'll upgrade us into First.
