While folks will have there preferences there is not a huge difference between any of the domestic F alternatives.
Meals will vary but mostly due to flight times and flight distances, not aircraft.
Some like the Airbus seat, some like the 737 -- this seems to be a body shape driven difference. But these are minor items in my experience / mind. The head rest, the lumbar support, ....
The biggest area is IFE (in flight entertainment) and here there are differences among aircraft of the same type.
A319 -- about have have wifi and no other IFE, the other half have overhead screens and audio channels
739 - some have DirecTV but some have no IFE.
You will not known that level of detail until the day of travel.

Well in a sense they are correct -- you should see the same inventory but their search software is different and may see some different alternatives. Sounds like you just need to call again and get a more helpful agent --- but the other alternatives may not exist.
