I think the lounge and airport at DXB is ahead of Qatar. Don't understand the hype around the premium terminal at all. Lounge is pretty small and smoking area is rubbish the food ok but EK better and you go to the plane on a bus! You can't beat the EK380 with bar for long haul although the 787 is very nice. I accept 777 vs 777 argument but the whole package. Ie connectivity, lounge, airport and similar hard products and service makes me usually go with EK. Nothing against QR which is also excellent.
