I've booked a So Cosy and have been told that this will be upgraded to a So Comfy with Club access. Given that the only difference between a Comfy and Club room is the club access, this is effectively an Upgrade to So Club.

I also specified that I would like a Water Element room and have been told that this will be guaranteed for me.

I find with specific requests, like this, it is usually better to talk to an individual at the hotel beforehand, rather than waiting til the comments on your reservation are read (perhaps only hours before you check-in).

I had a number of options given that I'm SPG and HH Gold as well as Accor Platinum. Honestly though I can't see how any other properties could provide a more exciting room and pool than the So Sofitel.

I will of course report back, after my stay in Feb.
