I don't know if sending payments to the same address can be cause of account closure. I would apply for another account with a slightly different name spelling and different email. I would also avoid making payments to the same address if you can. It's also possible that using the same computer/IP was the cause of closure even though it has not been a problem for me yet, so no harm in avoiding that too.
I don't think it's the same IP either that got him shut down. I have been using the same computer for my wife and I for over a year with no issue. Of course we may just be lucky.
