I don't know anything specific about this service, but ISTR that as a generalisation, Tuesdays and Wednesdays are the quietest weekdays for business travel. So if a couple of rotations were to be cancelled, it doesn't altogether surprise me that they would be Tuesday's and Wednesday's.
