Unfortunately, it is the high end hotels that are most likely to "nickel and dime" guests. The Four Seasons chain, for example, still charges most folks for internet as noted above. The Palace hotel in NYC does too.
This is Sydney. Other than the Sebel Pier One and the PH, almost all five star chain hotels charge around $30 AUD for internet. It's a lot like parking.
