Does anyone have any recent experience of crediting a QF flight that has been upgraded with QFFF points to BA?

1) Did you have any issue with it crediting as Ineligible and therefore had to have it manually credited, or did it credit correctly?

2) When is the best time to swap over to BA? I have an added complication of having a connecting domestic flight immediately before (same ticket), which I want to credit to QF, so it's either at the international check-in desk, the lounge or the gate.

This may all be entirely academic if the upgrade doesn't come through (QF upgrade using points is not confirmed until shortly before the flight, unlike UuA on BA), but I thought I'd ask in advance.
