Thanks for sharing. The food looks great and the tasting menu certainly adds class to the menu, compared with existing choices on other aircraft. The added personal space is also a massive plus, particularly in the middle seats. Sex-specific amenity kits are a nice touch, as are the 380 branded pjs.

Looking at this pictures, and having flown NF on the 777 a handful of times I can't say that the A380 looks particularly inspiring. I just think it's such a huge missed opportunity and somewhat lazy on the part of BA's cabin teams.

Design wise, the lamp, for example, looks to be the same size as the existing cabins on other aircraft and looks lost in the larger shell of the 380 'suite'. Why not match the large shell with larger controls, light fittings, etc.? It's also such a wasted opportunity to introduce a larger seat among all that space, though I realise this would be costly. It does seem BA is determined to keep costs to a minimum and parts replacement can go from 747 to 777 to 380 as necessary. The cabin just doesn't look sleek, like it does on other aircraft, it just looks a bit empty, but that's my opinion from pictures.

What with the 747s still flying around with OF and what, from reports on here, seem to be poorly maintained cabins on these birds it just seems lacklustre and lacks the inspiration BA was once renowned for. A great shame.
