Well, Fare Requests aren't really permitted on FT, but we've relaxed the rules a little here in Budget Travel, though most posters don't get much response unless OP has done some research. I'm happy to see you didn't just come without looking at some fares first ^
That said, for a last minute transcon you would be hard pressed to find something better @:-)

+1, and I have a somewhat higher risk while traveling than most.
The only way I'd risk not having a ticket back is to have one booked using FF miles as backup, but I'm guessing if you had those, you'd use them for the trip.
The downside with not having a ticket back is that one way trancons on short notice can easily go north of $600 one way, and if you have to go, you will pay through the nose
Prices can change in a hartbeat, so if there is a change in availability of certain fare buckets, price you see now can disappear as you refresh your search 30 seconds later. And yes, I've seen it with my own eyes
