The guaranteed alternative is the Oryx Rotana hotel, which is extremely close to the airport and within walking distance of the Premium Terminal (but not the Arrivals Terminal, which you will have to go through if entering the country).
I think that this is because HKG-DOH is in business class and DOH-DXB is in first class. BA.com seems confused on this point at the moment.
Did read a report that mentioned the beds.
Did also find something about first/business class. The HKG-DOH flight can be booked as first but is business with some first priviledges. The Qatar website confirms this from a dummy booking - bit strange in my opinion.
The BA website does say "business" under a couple of the flights but all are within the "first" column.
