Thanks Moomba. The flight is from LCY and arrives into AMS 1 hour and 40 minutes before the CX departure.

This seems like more than enough time, assuming all goes well!

jerry a. laska, if my BA flight is more than about 40 minutes late then I think I will be in trouble. There are earlier BA flights, which I could move to, so perhaps I should move it earlier by another 30 minutes or so. It's all a risk. I should have flown directly from HKG, but the price difference was about £1000 so I thought some risk was worth it. I hope I'm right or it could be messy.

How likely would it be for CX to put me on the next plane, if I have been checked in at LCY?
