HND is mixed fleet and obviously way more convenient for both Tokyo and connecting onto domestic services, but the flight times are horrific (though they do make a full day's work possible, if you are up to it).

NRT is world fleet and the flight times are a bit more agreeable, but it's a trek (even with the NRT express), and there are relatively few domestic flights.
